We are under the illusion that we are experiencing a great awakening, but what does that really mean?
Awakening and sleeping states are 2 sides of the same coin.
One pole being awake and the other, being asleep. Just as we do every day (literally). We wake up and go to sleep and wake up and go to sleep.
Without innerstanding what it truly means to awaken, we are lead to believe we are awake when in reality we are only awake until our consciousness goes back to sleep.
In other words, we experience glimpses of the awakened world until it becomes too much or we don’t want to go any further, so we go back to sleep.
True awakening is a process of enlightenment, where man becomes a true Man.
This path requires self awareness or self consciousness where an individual makes self observation a daily focus.
He wants to know why he is the way he is, why he is triggered, unhappy, traumatized, etc. he isn’t relying on daily sensations or physical desires, pleasures, etc — that is still an egoic way of life where man puts on his pseudo self suit to cope with life. He identifies with his personality and not his essence.
We need both, but personality is leading the way in our current state.
man needs to focus on his inner world in order to become a true Man.
Until man wants to become a Man, he will remain in the changing tides of sleep/awake consciousness. He will continue to think he is awake, only until he goes back to sleep.
This is a constant loop that happens because of lack of consciousness. We can only become conscious of things we contemplate, consciously. So what we contemplate when we are “awake” MATTERS.
Unfortunately, you cannot wake up man; this is a personal choice and voyage in consciousness he must make for himself. He must desire to be enlightened, not just temporarily awake.
HE MUST VALUE SELF CONTEMPLATION.
While, Self consciousness isn’t the final step, it’s the step that we need to focus on in order to create our causal body so we can be the creators of our reality and not just subjects of our current state.
The Principle of Cause and Effect begins to take on a new fascinating meaning when our Will is developed.
